Join our Prostaff
Vanishing Paradise is putting together a team of passionate sportsmen and women who will help raise awareness of the importance of restoring the Mississippi River Delta across the entire country. You don’t need to have visited the delta to be on our prostaff, you just need a passion for hunting, fishing and conservation and the desire to help restore this important resource. The deadline is November 30, so apply today!
The wetlands of the Mississippi River Delta host as many as 10 million ducks and geese from across the nation during winter migration. These same wetlands also support some of the best saltwater and freshwater fishing anywhere in the world. But roughly every hour, an area of the Mississippi River Delta the size of a football field is washed away. We can restore the delta, but we need your help.
As part of our volunteer conservation prostaff, you will:
- Cultivate hunting and fishing businesses, organizations or leaders and encourage them to become champions for restoring the Mississippi River Delta.
- Advocate for restoration by writing content for our website, submitting photos, promoting our social media feeds, and submitting comments or content to outside websites or forums.
- Organize at least one event for hunters and anglers in your area.
- Help us with media outreach by submitting letters-to-the-editor and distributing press releases.
- Attend at least two hunting, fishing or outdoor activity trade shows or events per year.
- Demonstrate strong personal ethics and respect for America’s wildlife and habitat-as well as respect for other hunters and anglers.
